At Sandringham High School, we know that behind every learner’s success stands a dedicated teacher — and last week, we had the opportunity to express just how much that dedication means.
In a small but heartfelt gesture, our staff were treated to a Thank You Tea, hosted on campus and made possible through the generous support of our Alumni, in collaboration with OLICO, Lyndhurst Spar, and Shami Lilram. This event was more than just tea and treats — it was a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate the incredible efforts of our educators.
Our teachers are the true champions of Sandringham’s recent transformation. They’ve gone far beyond their scheduled duties — arriving early, staying late, and giving up weekends, public holidays, and school breaks — all to ensure our learners succeed. Whether running extra classes, offering one-on-one support, or stepping in with encouragement when it’s needed most, their dedication has been relentless.
This year’s 94% matric pass rate was not a coincidence. It is the direct result of the tireless commitment, care, and belief our teachers have shown in their students every single day.
We are immensely proud of the progress Sandringham has made, and none of it would be possible without the unwavering spirit of our teaching staff. To each and every one of you: thank you.
