The Sandringham High School Alumni Association, in partnership with past alumnus Darryl Brainin of Burgess Plumbing, have taken a bold step in the ongoing rejuvenation of Sandringham High School. Together, they are restoring two sets of children’s ablution facilities as well as two sets of teachers’ ablutions, marking a significant milestone in improving the school’s infrastructure.

This initiative forms part of the Alumni Association’s wider mission to breathe new life into the school and create a safer, healthier, and more dignified environment for learners and educators alike.

“Restoring the ablutions may seem like a simple step, but for us it represents real, tangible progress in restoring pride and dignity to the school community,” said a Robyn Cohen, a representative of the Alumni Association.

The project was made possible through the support of Burgess Plumbing, led by alumnus Darryl Brainin, who contributed his expertise and resources to ensure the work was completed to the highest standards. This collaboration highlights the power of alumni coming together to reinvest in the school that shaped their futures.

The rejuvenation of Sandringham High School is an ongoing effort that extends beyond facilities to building a stronger connection between past and present generations. The Alumni Association remains committed to creating sustainable improvements in partnership with alumni, local businesses, and the broader community.

Well done to the Alumni Association, Burgess Plumbing, and the growing network of supporters driving this transformation.
